letter No. 091/2966 (F.2.) dated 2nd April, 1931, a tuition fee of £4 (four pounds) per week will be payable for attendance at each of these courses, and it would be appreciated if arrangements could be made for the sum of £7 - 4s. (seven pounds four shillings) in respect of the course at (a), if accepted, and £4 (four pounds) in respect of the course at (b) could be paid before the commencement of the courses to the Under-Secretary of State, The War Office. Any extra expense caused by the students attendance, i.e. for issues made (such as fuel, rations, etc.)., and accommodation, if provided, will be payable in addition, and will be recovered locally by the authorities at the establishments concerned.
